Whinnybank News

A tabby girl, who was abandoned & came to live at Whinnybank last year, eats her food off her paw, leaving a daily mess to clean up! Sue has known cats who do this with their drinking water but never their food. Thinking no-one would give the messy girl a home, Sue let her out of her pen. She seemed very happy at Whinnybank but somehow she became lost & ended up at Banklands, below Whinnybank. There, she wormed her way in with a lovely family who already had a cat & a dog but who said they could give her a home. Sue picked her up, thinking she would be happier back at Whinnybank but within 12 hours she was back at Banklands – she had obviously decided where she wanted to live! There is a photo of her on our Facebook page – fast asleep on her new owner’s bed, contented at last 🙂 Thanks go to everyone who has kindly donated food & money to help us continue our work. Thanks & a big “well done!” to ‘Kitten Linda’ for raising over £470 (so far) for Whinnybank by making face masks – they are £2 each, available in lots of different colours & patterns, & can be ordered by emailing purrfectlinda@gmail.com
