Whinnybank News

Because of the recent bad weather, Sue has a lot of catching up to do – mostly feral jobs. Domestic cats are still being homed pretty much as soon as they come in 🙂 Sue has a big job on the cards up in Aberdeen for a friend from many years ago who has been feeding 20 feral cats for some time. Sadly she has to sell up & move elsewhere due to ill health so she was worried about what would happen to the cats – there is no-one up there who works with feral cats & the CPL is no longer there so Sue is the cats’ only chance of rescue! Once they have been trapped they will be taking up residence in a ‘secure unit’ in the barn at Whinnybank. Some will, no doubt, be pregnant & at least 6 are autumn kittens. So, Sue definitely has her work cut out for her, especially with all the travelling. Thanks go to everyone who has donated carpet squares & knitting wool. Special thanks go to Sandra & Christine (one of our fosterers) for raising funds for us by selling items from our shops online.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at
