Whinnybank News

Babes, the contrary 12-year-old who had still not been homed after 8 weeks with us, finally found her forever home a few days ago. She is settling in really well & loves being in front of the coal fire – and her new owners have really fallen for her 🙂 Sue is getting calls from all over Scotland from people offering homes to cats! Our home-able domestic cats are all being homed in super quick time. Many people do not realise that the majority of cats at Whinnybank are not suitable for re-homing – either because they are feral, or because they are ‘problem’ cats. Lucky for them they can live out their days at Whinnybank. We are in desperate need of carpet squares & double knitting wool if anyone has any to spare please. As always, many thanks go to everyone who has donated cat food. We hope everyone is keeping warm & safe in this cold weather.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/whinnybank & www.whinnybank.org.uk
