Whinnybank News

In 35 years of cat rescue Sue has experienced a shortage of home-able cats for the first time! People are now asking for ridiculous amounts of money for kittens on the internet! Also for the first time, Sue has a list of people wanting feral cats. Whinnybank is looking after about 80 feral cats who have been with Sue for a very long time & she has her favourites. None of these 80 ferals will be rehomed as Whinnybank is their permanent home. Elderly cats are getting their chance of homes too which is wonderful as they are all too frequently overlooked. Maggie, the lovely grey & white Mum to the last set of kittens fostered by Linda, has gone to a lovely home on the Isle of Bute – wow! Sue wishes to thank all her friends for their Birthday wishes & donations to the Sanctuary.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at
