Whinnybank News

Thanks to Carol & Adam of Chance Inn for fostering a mum & kittens for us – the kittens have now been homed in pairs & the mum has been neutered & returned to her owner. Sue has received some very sad calls over the past week – a household of 5 cats has had to come in & Carol has taken 3 of them on for us. Hopefully these house cats can be homed together. Sue also had a call from another lady, in ill health, who heartbreakingly has to re-home her 6 house cats. One of her cats is 20 years old, and 3 of them were hand-reared by her from 3 weeks old. We are hoping to be able to home them in pairs. All 11 of these cats will be listed on our website as soon as possible. Linda Nielson has raised an amazing £2379 by making coronavirus masks – well done!!! The money raised will be used to make some suitable large pens in the barn for the elderly cats – they will have heated sleeping quarters with attached runs. Sue is chuffed  to be getting a haircut at last this week!
