Mila is a very special little girl of around 3½ years old who is looking for a loving forever home.
She has the most wonderful temperament and is an incredibly affectionate cat who absolutely loves human company. Mila is a real lap cat and enjoys nothing more than curling up beside you for cuddles and attention. She is friendly, loving and has so much affection to give.
Mila could be happy as either an indoor or outdoor cat, depending on her new home’s circumstances. She is neutered chipped and had all her vaccines.
Mila has had a difficult few months before coming into foster care. She arrived with a severe flea infestation and it is believed she suffered an allergic reaction to the flea bites. This affected her skin, leading to hair loss, scabs, a yeast infection and other related health issues. She has received extensive veterinary care while in foster and is making excellent progress.
Her skin is improving daily under veterinary treatment, and she is much happier and more comfortable than when she first arrived in foster care. As Mila continues to recover, her playful personality is beginning to shine through. She loves chasing a rope toy, enjoys being brushed, and is always happy to settle down for cuddles afterwards.
As a result of her skin condition, Mila currently cannot tolerate traditional cat litter and instead uses puppy pads placed in a litter tray. The rescue will provide support with puppy pads if needed.
While her veterinary team believes her problems were most likely triggered by a flea allergy, her full history is unknown, so this cannot be guaranteed. However, should any further health issues relating to this arise, the charity will continue to offer support and assistance with veterinary costs.
Mila has come through so much and deserves a family willing to give her the love, comfort and security she deserves. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily keep your lap warm and fill your home with love.
