OTTIS AND BEAU

They came from a nervous mum who taught them to be wary of humans, but both boys have made huge progress in foster care — especially Ottis, who is now confident, playful, and enjoys affection from people he trusts. In their video, you can see Ottis happily enjoying cuddles, with mum briefly popping her head in to check what’s happening, and Beau appearing at the end to watch with curiosity.

Ottis loves chasing balls, climbing scratch posts, and pinching his mum’s food instead of eating his own. He’s cheeky, fun, and full of personality. He’s also the brave one who shows Beau that humans can be kind.

Beau is the shyer of the two. He really wants to be stroked but is still a bit scared, and he watches Ottis closely when he gets affection. Seeing Ottis enjoy strokes, treats, and playtime helps Beau understand that affection is safe. He’s clever and quietly brave — he figured out how to get treats out of puzzle toys very quickly — and with Ottis beside him, he feels safer and more confident.

These boys would thrive in a calm, patient home where they can stay together. Ottis will continue to guide Beau, helping him learn that humans can be trusted, and Beau will blossom with his brother’s support. Given time, space, and gentle encouragement, they will grow into happy, confident young cats who bring joy to their new family.
