After our appeal last week for help with the cats at Whinnybank, quite a few people have come forward to offer their time – thank you! It is not just the work with the cats (including feeding, cleaning, vet visits, trapping and rehoming etc) that takes up all of Sue’s time – it is tending to the hens and geese, taking care of her fund-raising shops in Newburgh and Auchtermuchty, and also doing car boot and table-top sales. The list just goes on! She did her first Tayport car boot sale of the year last Sunday – it was, thankfully, a sunny day with no strong winds. The first one can be a bit quiet but they get busier as the season continues.
If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/whinnybank and www.whinnybank.org.uk
A GUIDE TO DONATIONS WHEN YOU ADOPT A CAT OR KITTEN
We ask for a minimum donation when we home cats and kittens, purely to cover our costs. If we did not do this we would not be able to run the Sanctuary! Find out more on our Donations page.
