Whinnybank News

So far this year, there have been 3 separate instances of cats escaping and disappearing from camper vans whilst their owners had taken them on holiday with them. Why? If you have a dear friend or neighbour who will see to their needs they are best left at home. No-one likes to put their cats in a cattery but after a few visits they get to know the place and the people who run it. The owners of these missing cats might be lucky enough to get their cats back if they are microchipped. Please, lots of cat food is needed and Sue would like some help with the 28 litter trays currently in use – please ring the day before and remember that most of the pens have feral or timid cats in them. Many thanks to the kind person who ordered carrier bags for us through Amazon – they arrived the very next day!

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/whinnybank and www.whinnybank.org.uk
