Whinnybank News

Sue has been very busy sorting out 4 lots of cats and kittens that have been born outside in Cupar, Leven, Glenrothes and Kelty. The ones in Kelty are being sorted out tonight and the ones in Glenrothes were trapped 2 weeks ago without any problems as the people concerned followed Sue’s advice. With the ones in Leven the member of the public involved thought Sue was a novice and decided to try to trap the kittens themselves as they thought they knew best – it ended up with the mum cat moving the kittens away and Sue is still trying to find them urgently as the mum will soon have another litter if not found. Unfortunately, the people who reported the mum and kittens in Cupar never came back to Sue with a contact number so we don’t know what happened to them. Sue often gets phone messages from people asking for help but they don’t leave a contact number for Sue to call them on – please leave a landline number if possible.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/whinnybank and www.whinnybank.org.uk
