Whinnybank News

The story of the pregnant mum from Dundee sadly ended in tears. She gave birth to 5 kittens but then became very unwell. The vet nurses came to the rescue and are hand-rearing the kittens successfully. The 5 months the mum had spent on her own with no warm shelter and little food took its toll on her and sadly she had to be put to sleep. Whinnybank is full just now, and so are our fosterers. Many thanks go to Carol and Adam for taking care of a pregnant cat – after 3 months, mum and kittens are finally homed. Thank you to the kind people who donated the slabs we needed. The old pens near the house at Whinnybank which need replacing now need to be demolished – Sue could do with a couple of strong people to help out, please call her if you can help.
