Whinnybank News

Sue’s neighbor, Susan White, has an amazing large garden filled with many unusual plants (plus 2 lovely cats!) and she works very hard to keep her garden looking fantastic. Sue gives her special thanks for raising £750 for Whinnybank by selling plants! We are all being affected by the rising costs of food and fuel and Sue is already concerned about the impact of these price rises come the winter. People can get food through a local food bank but if faced with vet bills they may simply not be able to afford them. This will mean many cats (and other pets) may be handed in to shelters – which is, of course, preferable to them just being abandoned.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/whinnybank and www.whinnybank.org.uk
