Whinnybank News

The number of cats who are waiting to shelter at Whinnybank is unbelievable – many people are waiting to give a cat a new home but it all takes time. The shortage of daylight doesn’t help at all. It has been a late season for kittens and more kittens have been seen in St Andrews. Thanks go to the kind people who are keeping up with the feeding stations. One semi-feral mum has had to be returned after being neutered as her last kitten is still to be found – we can catch her up again if need be. Many thanks go to Jim Parker for his very thoughtful donation of night-vision binoculars, which will help us to continue our trapping work once darkness falls! Sue also wishes to thank everyone for their recent kind donations of cat food, carpets, bedding, toys and scratch posts. We are currently short of carrier bags as our 2 shops are so busy! Christmas? … bring on the New Year!
