Whinnybank News

This week, Sue was called out to pick up a mum & kittens in a garage – the people had gone to move a sack & heard the kittens, although they hadn’t seen them, & they couldn’t get near the mum & thought she was feral – so they contacted us through Facebook. The mum was desperately searching for food & the kittens were getting cold (they were only about 3 days old) so Sue urgently asked the owners for a hot water bottle & by the time Sue had got the whole family to the fosterer the kittens were warm & had come to life – they were very lucky kittens! It turned out that the mum was not feral but she was upset at being moved & Sue worried that she may reject her kittens but they are now all settled together in a cozy new ‘nest’ & doing well. They will eventually be up for homing but that won’t be for many weeks yet. Sue wishes to thank the people who reported the Mum & kittens to her, and also for their kind donation. We are getting desperate for food again, particularly ordinary Felix, Felix “As Good as it Looks”, Purina & IAMS biscuits… as well as Dreamies of course!! Any donations would be very gratefully received. (You can order through our Amazon Wishlist).
