Whinnybank News

Sadly the feral cat with the broken leg had to be euthanized as the bone had not knitted together as hoped & it was badly infected. With a domestic cat the vet could amputate the leg but for various reasons it would be cruel to do that to a feral cat. This time of year is lovely – the cats (& us) are enjoying the warm days at last! We can get out into the yard to sort our bric-a-brac for the car boot sales – mind you, if you put down an empty box or an open suitcase a cat gets in it straight away! Buffalo Bill, 25 this year, loves a suitcase & sits very patiently waiting for his turn, bless him. Tayport is open every Sunday this year – we have to be there at 6am to get a pitch so Sue has to be up at 3.30 am every Sunday to get all her morning jobs done first!! So, if she looks like a zombie on a Monday you know why.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/whinnybank & www.whinnybank.org.uk
