Whinnybank News

Sue has her work cut out with injured cats coming in at the moment. A feral she released in Leslie about 3 years ago has obviously broken her leg – because she has been caught in a trap before (to be spayed) she will be difficult to trap again. It is also the time of year when un-neutered females are in heat so un-neutered males are fighting each other, resulting in wounds which can become abscesses if not treated. So, our vet Heather is also being kept really busy. Weather permitting, we will, for the foreseeable future, be at St Andrews every Saturday & Tayport every Sunday – selling our usual mix of bric-a-brac, free range eggs & home-made jams. It will be lovely to see our customers again! Thanks go to everyone who has donated food & money recently. Sue is putting out an S.O.S. for the Whinnybank cats’ favourite food – “Felix As Good As It Looks” (not Doubly Delicious or Gravy please) & Whiskas (in Jelly or Gravy).

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/whinnybank & www.whinnybank.org.uk
