Whinnybank News

Despite the fact that of late we are homing cats quicker than usual, we still have a waiting list of cats to come in – some domestic & some feral. An update on the Mum & 1 surviving kitten we told you about in our last news – they are both doing well & the kitten now weighs a whole pound! Thanks go to Kirkcaldy Pets at Home for their kind donation of cat food, bedding etc. Special thanks go to long-term volunteer John who has been helping out at the Sanctuary twice a week for years! He is also very good at helping Sue pick up unwanted cats in the Kirkcaldy area. He does have a favourite cat at Whinnybank – Rosie, who always knows when he is about. The guinea fowl also love him as he treats them to meal worms. If anyone has any spare newspapers, plastic flower pots or wool we would very much appreciate them – thank you.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at
