Whinnybank News

We are pleased to have homed 8 cats in the past week, including 2 elderly ones. Poor old Soldier, who came into Whinnybank last autumn, & who finally found a new home 4 months ago, sadly lost his battle with kidney disease. At least his final 4 months were very happy ones, thanks to Lorraine & her partner. Diabetic cat Fuzz has been adopted at last – by Sarah in Dundee – what a lucky boy! Sue has been busy trying to trap feral cats in Perth but the hedgehogs are beating the cats to the food!! One hedgehog was covered in ticks & had to go to the vet for treatment. Sue thanks both Heather the vet in Newburgh & Wilsons vets in Cupar for always being available when needed.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at
