Whinnybank News

The SSPCA contacted Sue about a family of feral cats in Perth who had not been fed since lockdown started – they won’t be easy to trap as they have had to extend the area they travel for food. Sue has set up a feeding station for them. We are pleased to say that our Newburgh shop is very busy – our customers are pleased to see us open again & their dogs are enjoying their treats. Bruno, the cat who visits our ‘Muchty shop daily, bless him, didn’t understand why our shop was closed so now we are open again he is a happy chap! Many thanks to the lady from Marks & Spencer who dropped off some cooked chickens that had reached their sell-by date for the cats – they thoroughly enjoyed them. Thanks also to Ann & Bill Duff for their kind donation of cat food via our Amazon Wish List. Sue doesn’t always have the names of people who have sent parcels of food so a big thank you to all who do this.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at
