Whinnybank News

With the sadness we are all facing right now, Sue wishes to thank Heather Vets & the volunteers for their continuing support. Our shops are, obviously, now closed & we are unable to fundraise – we have enough cat food for 2 months but any cash going spare would be much appreciated towards other bills. If you would rather donate cat food we still have our Amazon Wishlist which means that you can still support us whilst self-isolating. Thanks go to Mrs Marion Goddard for her kind donation of Whiska’s cat food. The hens are laying 4 dozen eggs a day just now – Sue’s son Steven is kindly offering to deliver eggs, bird food & pet food etc to local people in need. Anyone with poultry needs to be aware that there are people out there stealing hens so please keep them locked up. Four cats were homed at the weekend so we do have some empty pens for use in an emergency.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at
