Whinnybank News

With the help of Fife Cat Rescue, a huge problem is being sorted out at Lomond Hills Fishery. There were 6 feral females, an 8kg male and, of course, the kitten Dylan who kitten fosterer Linda tamed & who has now been happily homed with other feline company. By rescuing & neutering the 6 feral females we have prevented 12 litters of kittens from being born this year. Had they been born, not all the kittens would have survived due to predators & lack of food. Sadly we have lost another volunteer – Sandra Rattaley of Gateside helped out in our shops & was always willing to help Sue, which she enjoyed greatly. Sandra gave elderly tortoiseshell cat Cheeky a home – Cheeky has now been happily rehomed.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/whinnybank & www.whinnybank.org.uk
