Whinnybank News

Sadly Sue lost Maggie, the last of her 3 dogs, last week – it is the first time in her life that Sue has been without a dog. Sue spotted Maggie as a puppy when she was called in to rescue a cat & kittens from a flat. Maggie was a Labrador/German Shepherd cross & was in her 14th year so she was a really good age. The cats at Whinnybank really miss her – especially Towser (a Perth railway kitten from 1 of Sue’s 1st rescues) who was 21 years old & has now been reunited with her. We are sure Sue will find another rescue dog soon. The cats at the Sanctuary & kittens with our fosterers are starting to be re-homed now – Sue thanks all the fosterers for their hard work. Thanks go to Marian Calley of Giffortown for a bumper donation of lots of quality knitting wool & her kind donation of money. The wool will be featured in a future craft-themed window display. Linda has just created the latest window display featuring kid’s books & toys – Sue says it looks lovely!

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
