Whinnybank News

Some of you may remember Sue rescuing a kitten a year ago from Cluny Clays – she was a tiny wee soul & close to death, so cold that she was shaking all over, so much that Sue called her Jellybean. After a few months an inoperable tumour in her nose & throat was diagnosed – but she was a happy wee soul & full of energy with a particular love of hunting bugs! Jellybean sadly passed away earlier this week after a year of happy life that she would not have had if Sue had not rescued her. Three months on Sue is still trapping feral cats at the farm near Perth – there are still 3 adult cats & 2 litters to be found. Sue was surprised to find long term volunteer Isabel changing the window display in the ‘Muchty shop at 5pm last Saturday – there’s dedication for you! Thanks to everyone who has offered Sue soft fruit for her jam-making – she just needs to find time to make it now!
