Whinnybank News

Sue has been asked to remove feral cats from a farm near Perth – there are 12+ cats, none neutered, and on inspecting the job she saw pregnant cats too. The farm is being sold & she will have her work cut out to trap them all before the sale. Ann from Cadham brought a stray 15 year old ginger boy in last week, he had an eye infection & Ann had spent quite a bit of money at the vets on him. The owner was traced through a lost & found website. The cat suffered terrible diarrhoea (which Sue has sorted with a special diet) & has been drinking excessively so he has a medical problem – most likely diabetes or kidneys. The owner has made no move to collect the cat after being informed he has a medical problem so Sue has no choice but to contact the SSPCA. Thanks go to Donna & Rab for items donated recently; to the Laing Museum for some lovely items; and also to everyone who returns their seed/peanut bags – reusing them helps us to keep our costs down.
