Whinnybank News

Blossom, an 11 year old white cat, came to Whinnybank in June last year in a terrible state – her fur was very matted & she was covered in fleas. The vet had to take extra care sedating her because of a severe heart murmur. We are over the moon to report that she has now gone to a lovely new home. Two days before Christmas Linda had a call asking us to take on a litter of 8 kittens. As they were just 8 weeks old Sue wondered if they had not been homed because they were ill & that turned out to be the case, they were also covered in fleas. Sadly one was very sick and had to be put to sleep but the remaining 7 are now doing fine & are looking for new homes. Thanks go to everyone who has helped & supported Whinnybank through 2014 – we wish you all a happy & healthy 2015.
