Whinnybank News
To bring people up to date with the license situation, although Sue has paid the license fee there is still a lot of work to be done at WB before it will comply with the license people’s requirements. Unfortunately it will be spring before this can be completed. We are still, many months on, waiting for our fosterers to be assessed so that we can get back to re-homing cats from their own homes online. Sadly, there is a long waiting list of domestic cats that need help but Sue’s hands are tied. We will keep you posted.
Sue hasn’t been in the best of health lately and she finds the cold very difficult – so the 60 or so feral, semi-feral and other cats up at the Sanctuary which are Sue’s own cats are quite enough for her to care for over the winter. Many of Sue’s ferals are reaching the age of 20 and they are enjoying the new heated pens that were made by Bob 2 years ago.
Sue thanks everyone for their kind donations of cat food which we still need to feed all the cats here – she doesn’t always see who donates it. We have booked a few dates for our usual pitch in the Murraygate in Dundee on the run up to Christmas so hope to you see you there! Linda has been making plenty of Xmas catnip mice for us to sell!
