Whinnybank News

Last Monday Sue received 8 calls concerning unwanted cats! Kittens were seen on the road at Forgandenny, with no mother. One kitten was picked up by a passing car but it was 24 hours before we received a call from the person who picked that kitten up. We can only hope that another passing car picked up the other 2 kittens and that they are safe as Sunday night was wet and, sadly, predators would be about. If anyone knows anything about the other 2 kittens please give Sue a call. Thank you for all the cat food that was donated last week – you never let Sue & the cats down! Sue is feeling sad this week as she has lost her sister down in Hampshire. Marie would have been 91 in August. Retired vet Claire Poole and Juliet took Sue for breakfast at Freuchie Garden Centre – she enjoyed a lovely omelette and says “Thanks girls for cheering me up!”
