Whinnybank News
Last year was a nightmare, trying to re-home people’s pets that they could no longer afford – food yes but vet bills no. This year so far things are looking good with less calls from people wanting their pets to be re-homed, and many cats have already been found homes, mostly elderly ones, to lovely people. The happy pictures of these cats in their new homes can be seen on our Facebook page. Whether other rescues have also noticed this, Sue would like to know. Linda is, at last, having a well earned break from fostering kittens and is now busy making catnip toys. During the recent 2 weeks of freezing weather people were looking in our shops for flannelette sheets to keep them warm – if you have any spare please drop them off at our shops in Newburgh and Auchtermuchty. We are also needing Whiskas and Felix sachets please – thank you.
If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/whinnybank and www.whinnybank.org.uk
