Whinnybank News

Sue received a call from a lady in Glasgow called Jill as they had 7 semi-feral cats in need of a home after a livery stables closed down so the cats had no shelter or food and had been hanging around a car park. Not a very nice retirement for them after working as mousers for many years at the stables! Five were brought to Whinnybank on Sunday, all different ages. Sue said it was lovely to see them in cozy beds with plenty of food, there was not even a crumb left by Monday morning. She is looking forward to the arrival of the remaining 2 cats so they can also be warm and well-fed. Many thanks to the very kind person who sent some beautiful thick knitted blankets – Sue isn’t sure who sent them as the packaging had been damaged and any letter enclosed had disappeared.
