Whinnybank News

At last we have caught the Tortie Mum in St Andrews! Thanks go to Phil, who works at the Student Union. The Tortie had made a nest of dried leaves behind a bin, which kept her nice and dry, and Phil was asked to start putting food down for her. He was so chuffed when, after checking the trap many times late at night, she was finally caught. Last Christmas, Sue was looking for her kittens behind Domino’s Pizza and picked up 2 near RBS. Of her summer litter, only 1 was found, wading through a puddle after a terrible storm. She will now be neutered and not have to have any more litters. Over Christmas this year, as usual, emergency calls will be dealt with. With her many friends and helpers, Sue would like to wish everyone a Christmas which is perfect for them.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/whinnybank and www.whinnybank.org.uk
