Whinnybank News
A man from Pittenweem recycling centre called Sue to report a mum and kittens living there. The centre is only open 3 days a week so Sue was unable to leave a trap there as any cat trapped would be unable to forage for food for days. Sue eventually managed to trap a 5month old ginger girl and two 8week old kittens (currently in the care of Kitten Fosterer Linda). The mum was caught in the trap later the same day. It took many trips on pot-holed roads in the dark and lots of time, but thankfully this starving family are now safe and warm. We could really do with some Felix “As Good as it Looks” cat food, and also Purina cat biscuits – any donations would be very gratefully received.
If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/whinnybank and www.whinnybank.org.uk
