SIRI

We are reposting as sadly Siri has now been waiting for nearly a year for the right home.

Please read the post below before phoning. If you think you can help please phone.

Sirius, or Siri as we call her, is an F3 Savannah girl ex-queen who has been spayed & microchipped. She is 4 years and 2 months old. Siri is very skittish so we are looking for someone with experience of this breed and a lot of time to give her to overcome her skittishness. Siri is very much like a dog she will follow you about the house. Siri loves playing with wands but she will need a lot of stimulation to play. Because Siri was used for breeding, she never really had time for play but now she needs to learn how to be come a playful cat again. Siri just wants love but is just scared and the new owner would need to be very understanding of her needs and realise she is not a lap cat but hopefully through time she will become the loving cat she should be. Siri eats Iams Biscuits and Purina Gourmet wet food which she has 3 times a day. She is a house cat so she needs a lot of room to roam and explore – a small flat will not be good for her – she will need a big house with lots of windows for her to watch out. Siri cannot go with other cats or young children. If you would like to give Siri a loving home please call Linda on 01382 330457. All checks will be done. SIRI IS NOW HOMED

This is some info from Siri owners Derek Fowler

Hi Everyone,

Just a wee bit of background on Siri.

We have had Siri for a year now, We got her as an ex breeding queen ( though she only ever had 1 litter, with 1 kitten, that didn’t make it).

We already have 2 other Savannahs, & have had them for 7 years now. When we brought Siri home, we did all the usual things, kept her separated from other 2 for a bit, then started gradual introductions. Unfortunately, a lapse in concentration one time & there was a big fight, involving all 3 cats. Since then, we have not been able to get them together. They just do not see eye to eye & always seem to be wanting to fight.

Now all 3 cats are unhappy & someone is always locked in/out of a room, We dont know if siri would get on with dogs, Cats however probably not.

We will try to answer all questions, if you want to know anything else, just ask.
