Whinnybank News
This year has been stressful and hard work with feral cats popping up everywhere. At the start of January, when there is more daylight, Sue will be trapping the 7 remaining ferals. Lots have already been trapped, neutered and returned, and we still have 10 at Whinnybank. We have had some lovely people taking on elderly and problem cats this year. Winston was our longest term resident – he was at Whinnybank for 6 months before the right owner was found for him. You can see his photo and an update on him in his new home on our Facebook page. This year’s drought, and then the flood, followed by the latest frozen weather was a challenge – as it was for many people! Over the year we have had sad times, but also happy ones. Sue wishes to thank family, friends, volunteers and followers for all their help and support – without the donations of cat food and money, and the sales through our 2 shops, we would not be able to continue with our crucial work. Merry Christmas to all!! The cats will be getting their turkey – not George, our pet turkey. 2023 will be a challenge again but we will do our best with everybody’s help – Thank You.
