We have had quite a few calls from kind people offering to foster the elderly cats – Sue has not yet had time to call everyone back. Unfortunately, these cats will not cope in homes with other cats, dogs or children, which is why it is so hard to find the perfect homes for them. Cracker is a lovely 19 year old male whose owner went into care at the beginning of 2022. While he was able to stay in his home his owner’s carer fed him there daily, but with winter coming on he came into Whinnybank 2 months ago. The carer has visited him here but she is unable to give him a home herself. He has been very well cared for all his life and is a ‘cracking’ cat who loves fish! Please call Sue if you can offer him a home. Sue wishes to thank the lovely person who donated some beautiful hand-knitted blankets in our collection box in Morrisons Kirkcaldy.
