Whinnybank News
The kittens Sue caught last week are being a lot of hard work for kitten fosterer Linda. As they are only 4 weeks old, not only does she have to feed the hungry end every 4 hours, she also has to ‘encourage’ the poo end too! Thankfully they now have a future of a nice cosy home away from predators and cold wet weather. All our kittens are vet checked straight away and de-fleaed and de-wormed if needed. The darker nights makes trapping much harder so Sue was pleased to have just 1 more litter to find – but it is now 2 litters! One on another farm; and one of the mum cats from a feral job Sue did earlier in the year has now returned with 4 more kittens. Where on earth has she been for the last 5 month? We will probably never know.
