Whinnybank News
Rain at last!! Our two ponds have brought in wildlife that we don’t normally see and two badger cubs have been enjoying the cat biscuits as the ground has been too hard to dig for worms and insects! Whinnybank is inundated with elderly domestic cats (with more waiting to come in) and teenaged feral kittens, and our answering machine is always full of calls for help. Thankfully our shops are both very busy selling mostly summery clothes due to the scorching weather. Without your kind donations our Sanctuary would struggle to stay open. We are still waiting for Bob the builder to start on building the new pens which need to be up before the colder weather arrives.
If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/whinnybank and www.whinnybank.org.uk
