Whinnybank News

Last week Sue had a call from Pitlochry – a lady had found 4 kittens by her wheelie bin, the whole family were tabbies. Gillie from CPL in that area picked up the kittens & trapped the mum but, being feral, had nowhere for them to go. So, the kittens, only 7 weeks old & never been near a human before, went to kitten Linda who knows that she has to spend many hours with them to make them tame enough to home – good luck Linda! The mum will live out her life at Whinnybank. Looking over the past years, most ferals from that area have been tabbies – it is true that ferals have been breeding with Scottish Wildcats. Thanks to everyone who has donated prizes for our raffle & tombola – there are 30 prizes up for grabs in our Bumper Xmas Raffle, 1st prize being a bottle of Whisky. Tickets are £1 per strip from our Newburgh shop.
