Whinnybank News

We are pleased to report that the cat flu at Whinnybank has passed with no casualties. Sue’s brother is back in hospital so she is going to visit him – it’s a good job Sue likes driving as it is a 9 hour journey! Steven, John & Lorna will take care of the cats & birds. The 6 birds someone dropped off at the end of Sue’s road last week are fine – a kind neighbour helped Steven to catch them with a fishing net & cat boxes & the poor birds felt much better after a good meal as they were starving! The people who abandoned them only had to knock on Sue’s door – just leaving them like that, they could have ended up as a lovely feast for Mr & Mrs Fox! In the past, people have put unwanted birds over the gate at Whinnybank.
