Whinnybank News

Big thanks go to Fife Charities Trust who awarded Whinnybank a cheque for £500 towards our barn roof repairs. Sadly, Sue has been badly let down by the man who was supposed to be fixing it so new workmen will be taken on once the weather improves. Many thanks also go to Lisa Allison & her colleagues from Fife Council for £161.55 donated from their office Christmas raffle. We particularly rely on donations of money & cat food at this time of year as the weather makes fundraising very difficult. Graham & his lovely mum came out late Saturday evening, knowing Sue would be about, & donated a huge amount of cat food – many thanks. Lots of food & bedding have been left at Whinnybank when Sue was not there – Sue thanks these “good will fairies!” Many people from all over the UK have kindly donated food & money of late, which has all been very gratefully received – far too many names to mention but you know who you are! We wish everyone a very Happy New Year.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
