Whinnybank News

Many years ago Sue designed a wooden box for trapping feral cats as ferals are frightened of the usual metal traps. The wooden box works as a feeding station as well &, as it is triggered by a rope from Sue’s car, she can select which cats to trap. She is now on her 4th box & it needed repairing – she found a nice man called Tom Byre (who stays on the Falkland Estate, making wooden garden furniture & planters) who has repaired her old box & also made her 2 new ones. It is a cat’s paradise where he lives & he has 2 cats himself. Thanks to everyone who has donated cat food recently, we really are needing it. Thanks also for the donations of fruit – Sue has been extra busy making jam & jelly for our shops.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
