Whinnybank News

John, Jasmine & Simon kindly fostered a mum & her 3 kittens – they have now gone to a lovely new home with Edith Williamson & her 2 daughters – Sue has known them for years & is over the moon that the kitty family have got such a good home, it is always nice when a mum & her kittens stay together. The barn roof at Whinnybank has been leaking excessively for some time so we have been fundraising to get it fixed. A generous donation came in from Ireland – Sue took in 15 badly treated ferals from there 15 years ago as, because they were feral, none of the rescues in Ireland would take them – they all lived happy long lives at Whinnybank. Many thanks to everyone who has donated cat food recently – it is much appreciated as the Sanctuary is full to the rafters – Sue has had to take in over 20 cats in the last 3 weeks! This may be due in part to the PDSA no longer helping people on benefits with vet bills.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
