Whinnybank News

For once there were no cat calls on Christmas Day! Sue did receive a call on New Year’s Day from a sad family whose daughter had passed away leaving her cat, who could not stay with the family because they had dogs. Sue was the only cat rescue who answered the phone that day. She took the cat in and it has already gone to a new home. Trapping has had to be put on hold just now because of the freezing weather but it won’t be long before Sue gets back to it. Amazingly there is only 1 domestic cat for homing at Whinnybank just now! Thanks go to Hazel & Ken for their kind donation of a ton of logs. We were saddened to hear of the passing Of Mary Blacklock of Falkland – our thoughts are with her daughter Fiona, who used to work in our ‘Muchty shop with her mum.
