Whinnybank News

Linx, an un-neutered 15 year old who came to Whinnybank 3 months ago, had always been a house cat who was endlessly in season. We had her neutered by our vet & kitten fosterer Linda’s brother offered her a permanent home – they are now besotted with each other! Since the last news we have had 2 sets of kittens & feral mums, one litter newly born in a dog kennel in Dunfermline. The people have moved their greyhounds to an area safely away from the kittens. Sue does not want to touch them for 2 weeks – we then need someone with a quiet spare bedroom where they can be safely kept until new year (food, litter & any vet treatment will be provided by Whinnybank.) Linda is decorating the Christmas windows in our Newburgh shop this week. One window will feature our Christmas Raffle prizes which include a bottle of Benedictine, a Christmas cake, watches, wine etc. Tickets, £1 per strip, are available from our Newburgh shop & the draw will take place on Wed 20 Dec.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
