Whinnybank News

It has taken a week & 6 journeys but Sue has finally, with a lot of patience, managed to trap the 3 adults & 4 kittens in the garden in Kirkcaldy. The kittens are about 3 months old & will always be semi-feral so Sue hopes to find them homes on a farm or small-holding. Sue was also called to Leven this week to pick up a cat who had been sleeping in a porch for some time – the people were concerned with winter coming & also because they had 2 dogs. It turned out that the owner of the cat had died 5 years ago & the poor soul, a very elderly cat, had been sleeping outside & scrounging for food for the past 5 years 😦  Thanks this week go to Glenrothes Pony Club for their kind donation of books & bric-a-brac.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
