Whinnybank News

Sue was back at Perth recycling centre this week – it is an endless battle as cats are often dumped there. Some of the men are big softies – behind Sue’s back they release the cats from the metal traps so she has had to return with her heavy duty wooden trap, which she can activate from her car. It never fails & she can ‘pick off’ the cats she needs to trap but it is very time consuming. Sue has a list of the cats needing to be trapped – a list that just keeps on getting longer. Most of the cats are tabbies so once a cat has been neutered its ear is marked before being returned so she knows which cats are already done. Thankfully, Perth Council do not quibble about paying for the neutering. We are in need of golf balls if anyone has any going spare.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
