Whinnybank News

An update on the three 8 month old ferals from Stirling – the 2 boys have gone to stables near Crossgates, where the droughts & many rabbits resulted in the horses being short of grazing.  The pregnant female had her kittens but sadly they died – with being such a young mum, along with the stress of being captured, her milk never arrived to feed them. She will now join her brothers & keep the rabbit population at the stables under control. Thanks go to Sarah Wallder for raising £300 on ebay, which will go towards our vets bills; to Jan Smart for rejuvenating dolls handed in by washing them & knitting lovely outfits for them to make them sellable; and to the Red Cross for their donation of bric-brac.
