Whinnybank News

Sue started work on a feral job in Dysart 2 weeks ago – a farm was reported to have 9 feral cats to be trapped & removed – there were actually 15 cats & they were semi-ferals who had been dumped there around Christmas last year! Sue, with her expertise, trapped all 15 over 10 days. Half of them have already been neutered – the rest will be done when more funds are available. Five semi-ferals have also come in from Musselborough, via Sunny Harbour rescue. The owner was very ill & hospitalised. As luck would have it, a farm near Cowdenbeath called this week in need of 6 ferals to control the mice & rats on the farm as the vermin are resistant to the modern poisons! Sue thanks everyone who has donated cat food recently – it is always very much appreciated.
