Whinnybank News

Good news – the 17 year old cat that Sue had named Socks has gone to a perfect new home with two lovely elderly ladies. They have a history of taking on our elderly cats – the last cat they had was Harry, who lived in luxury with them for the final year of his life. The Edinburgh cash & carry where Sue usually buys the wild bird food, cat & dogs biscuits etc for our shops has closed down its pet food section so Sue now has to go all the way to their Glasgow branch for supplies. This takes longer than going to Edinburgh so she is going to look into having the supplies delivered – hopefully the cost of delivery won’t be much more than what she would spend on diesel so she is hoping to keep the prices in our shops unchanged. Thanks go to Muchty Monkeys for their kind donation of toys, bric-a-brac & books.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
