Whinnybank News

Sue looks forward to this time of year when the number of telephone calls she receives daily (mainly people asking her to find new homes for their cats) drops from up to 20 to 1-5. She is thankful to have the extra time to spend doing other things. Last Sunday 3 adult cats & 4 kittens all went to new homes &, very unusually, none came in – although Sue does have 5 domestic cats waiting to come in! Sue is really impressed with Linda’s new Halloween window display in our Newburgh shop – & there have been lots of compliments from customers too – it is nice to know that all her hard work is appreciated. Linda has also set up a kid’s “Spooky Halloween Lucky Dip” in the shop, only 50p a go! Thanks & Well Done to Maureen of Cupar who raised £160 for Whinnybank by doing a sponsored walk. Thanks also to Margaret Wallace for her kind cheque, and to Newburgh Parish Church for their donation of bric-a-brac.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
