Whinnybank News

Sue had a 5am start & a long day fundraising at a car boot sale on Sunday – she had not been back long when she had a call to say some donations had been left outside the shop. As they could have got wet, or even stolen (which has happened before) she had no choice but to go down to put them in the shop after feeding all the animals. Please, please do not leave donations outside if the shop is closed. Paddy & Ben have both gone to new homes this week, & Sue thanks Linda for finding homes for the last of the wee kittens. This week a mum & kittens came in from a skip & the last female from the farm near Perth has had her litter – it will be a few weeks before they are ready to be homed. Fundraising in Dundee last Thursday was cancelled due to rain so Sue went to Lanark poultry market & bought 37 new hens & 6 ducks! It will be a while before they are laying well but we hope to be able to fulfil our customers’ requests for eggs soon.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
